Vacation anyone??

I am so looking forward to a vacation! I am not one to blog about the negatives, lets just say my wayward child is a never unending sea of stress. I am seriously going to relax and try not to think of anything but enjoying myself in Hawaii. Yesterday Blaine (who usually doesn't show much excitement over anything, except retiring and going hunting, lol) came upstairs and said, (in an unusually excited voice) I can't wait till we go to Hawaii, that is going to be so fun and relaxing! I had to look up and make sure it was really Blaine who entered my room! They moved him again at work, he wasn't too thrilled about learning yet another position, he just got this one down, he now will be working with the victims through the court systems.

Beautiful Days

Friday Blaine and I went down to Huntington Beach to help Quinn move. The weather was gorgeous and we went out for lunch. Then Sat. it was a beautiful day here so we put some of Quinn's stuff in our storage unit then picked up Andrew (so mom and dad could do homework), we went to Home depot and bought flowers and plastic floor cover for Quinn's bunny who we are watching until Aug. along with his poodle and Devonn is watching his fish. The condo he is in has a no pet policy. Yeah for us, lol. Anyway then we went to Petsmart and then home to clean house mow and plant new flowers behind our pool. Andrew took a little nap until papa woke him up hammering up new boards in our back yard fence. Andrew helped us plant the flowers. He was so good!! I wish it was always this nice, we seem to get only about a month of good weather. I found a gift card in my wallet from Christmas I think for BJ's so then Blaine and I went out to dinner, a very rare occassion. I can't wait until Hawaii!!!!

Ward 80's Party

We had fun, good food and the karaoke was hysterical, one of my favorites was Ammon and Mason singing Hotel Califonia (although that was 70's) and Bro. King singing YMCA, oh and I loved Jennifer and Allison singing I Will Survive. Jazmine and some of her leaders sang Girls Just Want To Have Fun. So many families were dressed up so adorable, the Cola's were all matching and even have Nike bright yellow and orange shoes. Here is our lame attempt to somewhat dress up lol.
