Back to School

I am looking forward to going back to work and having James at Thorner with me. I have sooo much to do in all of the classrooms, seems the cleaning crew moved all the computers but didn't put them back in the correct spot, hence shared printers won't print etc. etc., Also new computers to set up, new recess times so I have to redo my lab schedule, just going to be busy, busy for the next few weeks!!! I will miss sleeping in until 7:00 or even 7:30 whoo! Now it's up at 6:30 every morning!

Port Hueneme Beach

Emilee and Gary invited us to Port Hueneme. I had always heard of it but never knew where exactly it was. Going from North to South, there is Ventura Beach, Oxnard Beach and Port Hueneme. I was pleased, it was a huge beach with lots of parking, white sand and no rocks. Devonn and Carla joined us and we brought Tifny to join Jazmine. Jazmine got to stay a week with Emilee. She has already made me a shopping list so she can make some homemade enchilladas that Emilee taught her how to make. That's wonderful, less cooking for me as you all know that it is not my forte' . The boys had a great time, digging in the sand being knocked over by the waves and Andrew enjoyed chasing the seaguls.

Quinn's visit

Quinn came down to Bakersfield for his orientation at Cal State, James got him to play Scaler and do the hard jumps. Sienna was happy to see Quinn and wasn't even barking or growling at the boys, lol.

Huntington Lake

We went to Huntington Lake for the day to visit my sister and nieces. The Lake was beautiful and the weather was kinda chilly about 68.

Arkansas

We had a lot of fun in Arkansas, the boys went fishing and they caught a lot of fish, we went to Branson Missouri and saw a fake Elvis in a mall before we went to Silver Dollar City. The boys had a lot of fun, they got wet on the rapids and loved the rollercoasters, Andrew was afraid on one because he sat by Jazmine who started screaming, lol. We went to some awesome caves, the boys were fascinated at first but got bored walking on a tour and listening to some lady. We went to see Ice age in 3D our last day. It was fun but it's nice to be home! It is so green, the first picture is Andrew and James under Grandfather's grapes in his garden.
