Spring Break

Well most of Spring Break I spent doing jobs around the house, I did my closets and spent an entire day doing the backyard, I was so sore, I am getting too old to pull weeds and trim bushes and trees, lol. I did get to spend Monday with the kids and a few evenings they came and brought food, yum. Saturday we got to go to Port Hueneme beach. That was lots of fun and very relaxing. I spent most of the time napping on the beach and we took a walk along the ocean. Easter Sunday after church Emilee and Gary were at the house waiting for us, Blaine smoked some chicken and ribs and we had his potato salad and pumpkin pie. Quinn came home from work at 6:00 and got to see everyone. Amanda was supposed to come and bring Kaydance but she never showed. Still haven't heard from her. I got Monday off too so was able to do my Sat. chores and the kids came by, all in all it was a nice time off. I wish Garrett were doing better, but it has to be his choice, we still hope for him to get into teen challenge.

Disneyland April 2011

We went to Disneyland to celebrate Carla and Blaine's birthday's and so James and Andrew could show us "their" Disneyland. It was great we didn't have to wait long at all for any of the rides. We hit Indiana Jones first and walked right on, then we got the fastpass for Space Mountain, who knew this was free all along. While we waited for our time we did the Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Haunted Mansion. Space Mountain is still my favorite, I rode with James. Andrew rode with me on Pirates, his favorite. Lexi was so good and she got to go on lots of rides too, she was only a little bit afraid of Mr. Toads Wild Ride. We went on lots of other rides too. Emilee got to come with us and of course Jazmine. I really had a lot of fun, it had been years since we had gone.
