Sept. Oct. Nov. December just sailed by.  We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and just finished another wonderful Christmas with family.  I love being with my family.  Here are some pictures to tell the story. Oct. Nov. Dec. memories

I forgot to post about our summer vacation to Catalina

First off James was baptized before we went to Catalina.  His daddy baptized him and it was so special.

We had a very enjoyable time in Catalina.  Due to traffic we almost missed the boat and that was too stressful so I think next time we will take the Catalina Express as there is a boat going out on the hour, not just one.  Blaine and I along with Jazmine, Austin, my mom, Sally, Emilee and Gary, Quinn, Devonn, Carla and James Andrew and Lexi.  I love spending time with my family in Catlaina.  I loved snorkeling.  The water was not that cold this year, I think Quinn said it was 70.  I loved the flying fish boat ride and the Island at night.  It is so peaceful.

The end of summer came and we started a new school year.  We picked up our new exchange student Paoleta.  She is adorable and we love her already.  Jazmine started Bakersfield College.  Blaine started his seasonal job with Worldlink and 2nd home visit coordinator.  We took a last trip to the beach on Memorial Day, it was chilly but beautiful.  Quinn had a birthday and we went to the fair.  Oct. will be very busy with lots of activities.

Well I haven't been great at blogging lately, so much going on.  I am working summer school as a bus monitor and special ed aide.  Grateful to have gotten the 8 hour position.  We've been swimming a lot and I love having all the kids over to swim.  We took Zara to Oxnard on Memorial Day and then we took her up to Huntington Lake and she got to go on the sailboat.  Zara left to go back home to Pakistan.  It was hard to see her go, we sure fell in love with her.  We decided to host another exchange student in August.  She is from Bulgaria and her name is Paoleta Yordanova.  This has been a really good experience.
