Blaine and Carrin

Blaine and I were married on Aug. 10, 1982 in the Los Angeles Temple. We have 7 children. I gave birth to 4 and then we adopted a sibling group of 3. We love all of our children so much!! We now have 6 grandchildren. I love the ocean and Catalina is one of my favorites places. Blaine loves the mountains and fishing and hunting, he also loves Catalina. I have traveled across the US on the southern route. We went to college in Rexburg, Idaho when we first got married.

Summer Projects

Well, I've decided to take some advice from the HGTV Rate My Space comments, After every comment said lose the coffee table I got rid of it and put the smaller matching table in there. I am going to start with something cheap that I can do, paint my kitchen table that is currently white legs and white chair legs and back slats to a beautiful Cranberry color. Going to get rid of the yellow and orange 70's colors, lol. I'll post the final result when I'm done, a nice before and after shot. I am getting so excited to go on our vacation to Arkansas, I am looking forward to going to Silver Dollar City in Branson and seeing the boys on their first Plane flight, James went to Hawaii as an infant but that doesn't count. :)
Going to the Temple on Sat.!!

Did you get rid of the funky retro flowers on the table? The living room does look WAY better with the other table.

I'm excited about Arkansas, but a little stressed too- we just found out that since Devonn is half time this summer (we didn't know- he thought 6 units in the summer at CSUB was full time, like BC), anyway, we're getting around $900 less than we thought. So, paying for airport parking and a house/pet sitter is gonna be tough. It will end up being fun regardless though.

Haven't had any money to get a different center piece for the formal living room but the funky orange flowers are off the kitchen table, put a bowl with apples in the center, not the bowl I wanted but it's the only large beveled glass bowl I have for now.
