We went to the Shafter fireworks show on the 3rd. It was a great show and the weather was cool. We had a nice time, it was Blaine, Jazmine, Tiffny, Grannie, Garrett, Jessie, Quinn and I, Devonn, Carla, James and Andrew, Lance, Cheryl, Micah, Catie and Dylan. On the 4th we got to have a nice dinner with Emilee and Gary down, they had been in Taft for dad's funeral which was Friday. Gary's birthday is the 6th so we had some cake too. Then we did our own fireworks when it got dark. I took some good pictures that we haven't been able to get yet from Grannie's camera, I'll post them later.

Wish we coulda stayed for fireworks, but we were just way tired and ready to head home. Thanks for having us for dinner, though! It was nice. Looks like you guys had fun with fireworks!
