Blaine and Carrin

Blaine and I were married on Aug. 10, 1982 in the Los Angeles Temple. We have 7 children. I gave birth to 4 and then we adopted a sibling group of 3. We love all of our children so much!! We now have 6 grandchildren. I love the ocean and Catalina is one of my favorites places. Blaine loves the mountains and fishing and hunting, he also loves Catalina. I have traveled across the US on the southern route. We went to college in Rexburg, Idaho when we first got married.

Long Time No Blog

It's been a very stressful last few months and I just haven't had the energy to blog. Adult kid problems. I am also working an extra two hours at Roosevelt School but I enjoy it and we will earn some extra money to help pay off debts, we are so behind in our bills right now so it was a blessing that came along. The solar panels seem to be working good even with the limited sun our electric bill was 165.00 instead of 794.00, our gas was 180 instead of 130 but we use more hot water and the central heat uses gas I'm told but all in all a much lower utility bill.
James and Andrew got to spend the night on Friday and I had a lot of fun with them, we chased papa down stairs so we could have a dance party upstairs and play the music real loud. We danced to Baby you're a Firework, Hey Soul Sister, One Day, (which Andrew took a real liking too) gaga's Just Dance for James and then James had me pull up some Japanese grunge rock band his dad lets him listen too off youtube, so he was head banging, lol. Then later after some video games we all jumped in the big bed and told stories, we each got to tell one. I sure love those silly boys and they don't mind when Nana acts like a dork and dances with them. :) Papa took them in the morning to the car wash and them to get a donut, then they helped him mow the grass before their mom, dad and Lexi came over. Lexi is getting so big and I just love her smiles and beautiful blue eyes and strawberry blond hair.

Enjoy it while you can, soon they'll be cringing like the rest of us ;)

You know what's funny? Devonn and James were listening to that song super loud and headbanging outside of Sister Velez's house when James was going to piano and Devonn looked up and Sis Velez was standing there watching them. She was probably wondering what the heck they were listening to.

Yeah, that's awesome about the electric bill! WAY better than $700 something, haha. Hopefully things continue to improve financially for you guys.

I'm glad you and the boys had so much fun. They are so cute!
