A Nice Labor's Day

Blaine decided he wanted just he and I to go to Ventura, I felt bad leaving everyone else at home, well not too bad, lol. Anyway we went to the Ventura Harbor first on Spinniker and went through all the little shops, bought fudge and candy for the grandkids and strolled around looking at boats, (he asked me if I wanted to buy a boat and live on it, lol) I said not that close to the water. We then went to Ventura beach and took our chairs out and sat right by the water. There was no wind and it was 75, dang I forgot to put my swimsuit in my beach bag, I still got in to my knees and got my short wet, it felt great though. We kicked back for a couple of hours and then we went into town and ate at Acapulco's, a Mexican restaurant on Victoria, then headed home. I had a great relaxing time. I forgot my camera but here is a shot of Ventura. It wasn't even crowded either.
